Hey guys! So a little while back me and Nate put our model hats on and showed off some clothing at Gypsy & Co. The pictures were for an article being written on the store for the Ottawa Citizen which came out today! SO click HERE to take a pic at the pictures and read up on a great local vintage shop!

New Pup and Wedding adventures!
Alright so as I am sure you all know we added a new member to our family and his name is Lemmy! Him and Dolly are the best of friends now after two weeks of adapting. They give each other kisses and when I wake up in the middle of the night I catch them cuddling it's pretty cute! It's also really nice for Dolly to have a play pal so that we don't have to toss around her bar 4 hours a day lol. They play and sleep play and sleep it's a cute little routine that I am glad they both seem to be stoked on. So on that note here are a million photos of my babies.
Picture of Lemmy from the lady we bought him from when he was 4 weeks!
Last weekend we went to our good friends wedding and it was a great day! My morning was busy as I did her mothers hair and make-up for the wedding then did my moms hair and gave my dad a trim all before heading home to get ready myself. But it was all worth it! The venue was so perfect for them and the food was great! Later on in the night they had a make your own poutine station anddd a cookies and milk station too! Lots of awesome homemade touches that made for a really memorable night! Their first dance was to Grow Old With You that Adam Sandler sang in the wedding singer too awesome! Alright enough witht he ramblings here are a bunch of pictures from the wedding!
It was a great night and everything Heather and Scott deserved! So happy for them!
Sorry I have been semi m.i.a. I am taking a course and have been studying lots to get a big girl job lol. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

News Editor says Tattoos are Classless and Worthless Posted on January 31, 2012
This article was reposted in it’s entirety from The Spectrum, the independent publication for the University of Buffalo.
Article by Lisa Khoury
I get it. It’s the 21st century. You’re cool, you’re rebellious, you’re cutting edge, you have a point to prove, and you’re a woman. Awesome.
Ladies, I know you’re at least at the legal age of making your own decisions, but before you decide to get a tattoo, allow me to let you in on a little secret. A secret you may have not fully realized yet thus far in your life. What you must understand is, as women, we are – naturally – beautiful creatures.
Seriously, though. Your body literally has the ability to turn heads. Guys drool over us. We hold some serious power in our hands, because – as corny as this sounds – we hold the world’s beauty.
But something girls seem to forget nowadays, or maybe have not been taught, is that women hold the world’s class and elegance in their hands, as well. So what’s more attractive than a girl with a nice body? I’ll tell you what: a girl with class. Looks may not last, but class does. And so do tattoos.
An elegant woman does not vandalize the temple she has been blessed with as her body. She appreciates it. She flaunts it. She’s not happy with it? She goes to the gym. She dresses it up in lavish, fun, trendy clothes, enjoying trips to the mall with her girlfriends. She accentuates her legs with high heels. She gets her nails done. She enjoys the finer things in life, all with the body she was blessed with.
But marking it up with ink? That’s just not necessary.
I’m not here to say a girl should walk around flaunting her body like it’s her job – that’s just degrading. Instead of getting a tattoo, a more productive use of your time would be improving and appreciating the body you have been given, not permanently engraving it.
Can you get meaning out of a tattoo? Arguably. If you want to insert ink into your skin as a symbol for something greater than yourself, then maybe you are proving a point to yourself or the rest of the world.
But at the end of the day, are you really a happier person? Has this tattoo, for instance, caused you to learn something new about yourself? Has it challenged you? Has it led you to self-growth? Nothing comes out of getting a tattoo. You get a tattoo, and that’s it. You do something productive, though, and you see results. That’s a genuine, satisfying change in life. Not ink.
Invest your time, money, and effort into a gym membership, or yoga classes, or new clothes, or experimenting with different hairstyles if you’re craving something new with your body, not a tattoo.
I promise, it will be a much more rewarding experience, and you won’t find yourself in a rut when your future grandkids ask you what’s up with the angel wings on your upper back as you’re in the middle of giving them a life lesson on the importance of values and morals.
God knows the last thing this world needs is another generation of kids questioning their basic values and morals.

The best way to describe what I have to say about this is to repost the email I sent this sorry excuse for a human being:
I just got done reading your article on how classless women with tattoos are. It actually baffles me that in this day and age people as ignorant and degrading as you still exist. I am a married happy woman saving up like any normal couple to buy our first home. When I am around my friends children they all have fun looking at my tattoos and seeing something new and unique. I am an inteligent well respected member of my community and NOT A SINGLE PERSON has cast such ignorant jugments upon me as I read in your article. Maybe you should focus less on beauty, makeup, nails, hair, nice clothing, heels and a gym membership making a women a classy and elegant worthwhile human being. Maybe just maybe you didn’t learn in elementary school that its what inside that counts. Not to judge a book its cover? That the beauty of the world is all the different people that make it up? I am a beautiful, smart, self respecting and worthwhile human being. Hopefully one day you will be too, but you’re american so if not i’ll understand. (just a little ignorance tossed in there to make you feel more comfortable)

Canadian Pooch!
I bought Dolly a Canadian Pooch Polar Project jacket today! She wasn't taking well to the canadian winter and was refusing to go on walks and even sometimes to stay out long enough to even go pee! She seems like a happy camper now we went on a great walk once she had it on!
I got her the first style but the hooded one is also great!
Click HERE to see the companies website! It is the warmest and best quality dog jacket I have come across well worth what we paid for it! I have been looking since before the holidays but was only coming across flimsy overpriced crap that you could tell was going to fall apart before winters end.

Holiday Wrap Up!
Alright so I have been insanely busy since the holidays and have slacked on writing you guys an update on how we spent our holidays! So here it goes!
This was the first Christmas with my parents living back East. We have spent holidays together out here but it was never quite the same because we had no central hub that was our own to spend them. So it was so nice to have my parents house to all share the holidays together!
I was up very early on Christmas eve morning hanging out with Dolly in our xmas sweaters!
We spent Christmas eve at my parents best friends house and had an amazing spread of seafood and appatizers! Don't know if I have ever been so full in my life!
They have three dogs of their own, plus Dolly and her daughters bulldog Winston it was like a zoo! The pups were all so pooped out by the end of the night to say the least! SO here aresome pictures from that night.
Dolly and Tilly sniffin out the situation
The Silverii family too full for smiles
Dolly and Tilly at the end of the night ready to go to sleep and wait for Santa!
Once we wrapped up our night there we set out on the hour long drive to my parents place in Perth. Got in around midnight all had a drink or two and got the tree and stockings and last minute wrapping ready for the morning. We started out morning with gifts and mango Belinis ( yes my mom is super cute and made belinis for xmas am).
Then it was on to breakfast!
Poached egg with ham brie and chives and spiced shortbread cookies
We relaxed all afternoon and watched movies while the turkey cooked on the bbq! As always my mom made an epic dinner and set a gorgeous table so here are some pictures of all that.
And lastly here is a picture of where my parents are living, a christmas afternoon walk and Dolly pooped out from all the festivities in her new blanket!
All in all we had an amazing holiday season and it was shared with the people who matter most in our lives. I coulnd't have asked for anything more! We had a skype date with my aunt Leslie and Nates family in California who weren't able to be here so that was really nice too!
I hope everyone had as great a holiday as we did and that 2012 is off to a great start for all of you!
